Hi, I’m Jack and as a communication designer I enjoy creating experimental publications that can be translated or paired with digital media. I have a love for gaming, and I like connecting the digital landscape with traditional applications in my designs. Although I am most passionate about publication design, I am also proficient in branding, UI/UX and motion design and I am keen to further develop my skills as an artist and designer.

01.Nuclear Campaign
Zeitgeist Magazine

My campaign aims to open up the conversation around the use of ‘Nuclear Energy in Australia’ by addressing the real fears people hold about nuclear energy and informing people on the facts surrounding its implementation in Australia in hope that it will encourage a more open conversation based on science and reasonable concerns.

Zeitgeist Magazine acts as an informal touchpoint into the conversation around nuclear energy and helps to inform the general public on the history, science and facts of nuclear energy while balancing the fears and concerns of the technology within an Australian context.

Posters

The poster series helps to push the public towards Zeitgeist Magazine where they can explore the full history and topic of nuclear energy in an Australian context, asking questions like: “Does Australia need nuclear energy to survive?” and “Scared and confused about nuclear energy?”, prompting the public to seek answers in Zeitgeist Magazine.

Website &  Posters

Natural.AI proposes a return to form in a sequel to the arts and crafts movement in protest to the commoditisation and mass production of the first industrial revolution. The laziness of the modern world influenced by algorithms has made humanity forget about our own free will. By using AI appropriately to teach and learn rather than create or imagine for us, it can be a useful tool for artists, designers, creatives and thinkers. This return to handcrafted learning reinforced by modern technology will help people actually achieve their goals and learn new creative processes, rather than stealing and absorbing just the answer rather than the technique from a bland database containing all of humanity mushed into a single digital blob.

Natural.AI aims to create interactive and helpful creative tutorials to inspire and build up the untapped talent of humanity supressed by AI innovations of ease, countering the option of the easy way where nothing is absorbed or made with the manual human ability to learn, teach and improve through real world practice and mistakes.
